Privacy notice for the readers of this guide
Effective from 13 October 2026.
This notice covers the independent information site about Kings Game that you are reading. It is written for visitors in the United Kingdom and applies to anyone who visits a page, writes to the editorial address or follows a link from here.
Who is responsible for your data
The publisher of this site decides why and how the personal data described below is used and so is the controller for that data. The site is not Kings Game and does not run the casino. It holds no reader accounts, takes no payments and asks for no identity documents. If you have a casino account, the casino’s own privacy rules apply to everything you give it, and this notice does not.
What is collected, why and for how long
| Data | When it arises | Purpose | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your e-mail address and the content of your message | You write to the editorial address | Answering a question or making a correction | Until the exchange is finished, then deleted unless the law requires it |
| Technical details such as browser type, device and pages viewed | Any visit, through the server and basic site tools | Keeping the pages working and seeing which are read | In aggregate form for as long as it remains useful |
| Cookie or similar identifiers | Where the site uses them for operation or statistics | Remembering a setting or counting visits | For the life of the cookie, which your browser can clear |
| Click on an outbound link | You follow a link to another site | None on our side; the other site takes over | Not applicable |
No page here asks for a date of birth, a payment card, a document or a password. The only information we ask readers to send is whatever they choose to put in an e-mail. E-mail is not a secure channel by itself, so please leave passwords, card numbers and copies of documents out of a message, since a reply never needs them.
The legal basis for each use
Under UK data protection law a use of personal data needs a lawful basis. Replying to a message rests on our legitimate interest in answering readers and fixing mistakes. Measuring visits in a way that is not strictly necessary for the site to work relies on consent where the law requires it. Keeping a record that the law obliges us to keep rests on that legal obligation.
Cookies and similar tools
A cookie is a small file that a site stores in a browser. Cookies that are strictly necessary for a page to display do not need consent. Others, such as those used for statistics, are used only with your agreement where the law asks for it. Browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time, and doing so does not change what a page says.
Who else sees your data
Data may pass to the companies that host the site, deliver e-mail or provide statistics, and they act on our instructions. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass reader e-mails to casinos. A link to Kings Game or to another site leaves this one, and that site then handles whatever you give it under its own rules.
Transfers outside the United Kingdom
A hosting or e-mail provider may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer should be covered by an adequacy arrangement or by standard contractual safeguards recognised in UK law.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, ask us to restrict a use, ask for your data in a portable form, and object to a use based on legitimate interest. Where a use rests on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to [email protected] and say which right you want to use.
If you are unhappy with an answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Its helpline is 0303 123 1113.
How a request is handled
A request to use any of these rights is answered without undue delay and in any case within one month of receipt, which is the period UK data protection law sets. We may ask you to confirm that the message comes from the address the data relates to before we release or delete anything. No decision about a reader is made by automated means, and no profile of a reader is built from e-mails.
Readers under 18
This site is intended for adults, and in Great Britain the minimum gambling age is 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. A parent or guardian who believes a young person has written to us can ask for the message to be deleted using the same address.
Changes to this notice
If the way the site handles personal data changes, this notice is updated and the effective date at the top is changed. A reader who wrote to us before a change keeps the rights described above.
